The Office of Technology Transfer (TTO) is a unit within the Science Research Sector (NIS) of the University of Sofia in Bulgaria. It promotes and supports transfer of knowledge and technology to industry by linking science research units at Sofia University, companies and outside organizations. It offers services in: Intellectual property rights, patents and licenses, technology auditing, consulting and support in creating new businesses, training related to technology transfer and management innovation. It develops methodology and training materials for the most effective forms of technology transfers, commercialization of research results and setup of new businesses entities, as well as finding sources for funding innovative projects. The aim of RepaNet is to create and establish jobs in the field of environmental services and employment within ecological concerns, particularly in the field of resources protection. This includes the promotion of repair and reuse activities in Austria and the extension of the service life of products. RepaNet intends to establish a nationwide network of organisations, which are dealing with repair services and dismantling, recycling and reuse of used goods and waste. Additionally the association RepaNet acts as the national governing body of the European network RREUSE (Recycling and Reuse of European Social Enterprises).

Kaarinan Työttömät ry - Ekokkarina was founded in 1994, became in 2005 a social enterprise and is a registered association. They employ long-term unemployed people in the fields of processing, repairing and sales of used goods and have experiences in qualification/training measures. The tasks: Receive, sort and store waste electric and electronic equipment, repair operational appliances for reuse, dismantle the waste for utilization without risk, operate flea markets and a lot of other services. They are a noteworthy player in the Second Hand and Recycling field nationally. They have cooperations with the Austrian SerraNet partners (RUSZ and Ökoservice) and they are member of associations that have to do with the Recycling and Reuse sector like the Sytrim development project, SerraNet, RREUSE, SERRANET EEIG, SEKY RY – The association of Finnish electronics recyclers.

Kaarinan Työttömät ry - Ekokkarina was founded in 1994, became in 2005 a social enterprise and is a registered association. They employ long-term unemployed people in the fields of processing, repairing and sales of used goods and have experiences in qualification/training measures. The tasks: Receive, sort and store waste electric and electronic equipment, repair operational appliances for reuse, dismantle the waste for utilization without risk, operate flea markets and a lot of other services. They are a noteworthy player in the Second Hand and Recycling field nationally. They have cooperations with the Austrian SerraNet partners (RUSZ and Ökoservice) and they are member of associations that have to do with the Recycling and Reuse sector like the Sytrim development project, SerraNet, RREUSE, SERRANET EEIG, SEKY RY – The association of Finnish electronics recyclers.
Task within Leonardo project:
- Transfer and testing of sector-specific qualification modules for the Second Hand Sector into country-specific concepts on the basis of the existing qualification profile
- Transfer and optimization of work-related quality standards for the establishment of a sector-specific qualification
- Transfer and optimization of an instrument to identify the need of qualification
- Transfer and optimization of an instrument to check the quality of qualification measures
- Building of a national network for the implementation, testing and optimization of the above-mentioned products
- Sustainable implementation of the above-mentioned products
